Over the last 10 years, RTX Wheels has become the number one leader in the alloy wheels canadian market.

The RTX Wheels line started in 2003 with a selection of 3 models. Over the years, with the different technological innovations and following the market trends, RTX Wheels diversified its offering to the level we now know. RTXwheels is proud to offer the broadest selection of alloy wheels on the Canadian market with over 120 models available.

Our 4 distinct wheel series, each answering specific industry standards (JWL, VIA), will provide a RTX Wheels model for every car categories on the market.

Offering wheels built with the Flow Form technology, replica wheels with the proper dimensions and specs for many car or truck makes and models, wheels with classic designs and others with modern and unusual styles, as well as rims for the ever growing trucks and pickups segment.

Flow Form technology allows RTX to produce wheels that are extremely light and strong, similar to forged wheels but at a fraction of the price.

Flow Form technology is a procedure that makes the material of the wheel turn on a mold at high speed and uses hydraulic steel rollers to form the wheel under great pressure. This pressure forces the metal to take the shape of the mold, which creates the form of the wheel. In this process, the metal “flows down” the mold, hence the name of the technology, creating the width of the wheel. The pressure applied on the wheel changes the mechanical properties and the density of the metal which increases its strength to be similar to that of forged wheels. As a general rule, wheels built with Flow Form technology are 15% lighter and are stronger than standard alloy wheels. The wheels are then heat treated to finalise the process and increase the impact resistance of the final product.

After, the face of the wheel is machined with a CNC machine to give each spoke their final shape. The wheel is then powder coated and depending on the style the face of the wheel may be machined to give it its final appearance.

Several tests are performed on Flow Form wheels. From impact resistance test, dynamic and radial fatigue tests and leak testing, everything is put in place to make sure every feature is optimal.

Before leaving the production line, each wheel is tested for balancing and run out to make sure that every delivered wheel is ready to be installed.
